Golden British Longhair Ethel Earned the Champion Title in Sherbrooke
Golden Shaded British Longhair Cat in Cat Show
This was Ethel’s very first cat show. As a female Golden British Longhair, she performed incredibly well—especially considering she gave birth to kittens just a year ago. Her plush, luxurious long coat drew admiration from both breeders and spectators alike.
Since it was her first time in the show ring, Ethel was a little nervous on the first day. However, by the second day, she had settled in and adapted to the environment with confidence. One of the most exciting moments came when she was awarded third best Longhair cat in one of the rings, earning her the title of Champion!
We also took the opportunity to speak with experienced judges to gain feedback on areas where we can continue to improve. While they praised our cats for their sweetness and overall quality, they suggested we work on enhancing body size to align more closely with the solid-colored British Longhair standard.
It was a wonderful experience to not only learn and grow through the feedback but also to connect with fellow breeders who share the same passion. Attending the show was both rewarding and inspiring!
