Beautiful British Shorthair and British Longhair Kittens

I adopted my girl cat from this cattery in 2023, and she’s been the sweetest companion ever. She’s incredibly affectionate — a bit on the needy side in the best possible way — always wanting cuddles and company. You can really tell she was raised with love and care. She adjusted quickly to her new home and has such a gentle, social personality. I couldn’t have asked for a better little friend. Highly recommend this cattery for anyone looking for a loving, well-socialized kitten!

We recently adopted little kitten from the cattery. We are super happy with the kitten, the experience and supports the cattery have given us. As a newbie, I had many questions through the adopting process, they were very patient and responsive to my questions. I'm very fortunate to live in the same city and I was able to visit the cattery to interactive with a few kittens to decide on my favorite one. They have a very clean and friendly environment for their cats; they truly love the cats and take very good care of them. When they delivered the kitten to our home, they helped me identify potential hazardous spots in my home and provided suggestions. They brought me all the information and paperwork, and a starter caring package. I’m very grateful for their professional and responsible treatments. Even after we received the kitten, they’re still very responsive to my questions and answered me promptly. As I was writing the review, my little baby Pomelo jumped on my desk and helped me typing a few words😊, he’s absolutely adorable.

This is a thank-you post. First, I want to clarify that I DID NOT buy my kitten from BearMary Cattery — he was purchased from somewhere else. I’m adding this because I don’t want anyone to misunderstand and think BearMary sold me a sick kitten. A month ago, my kitten (just over 2 months old) became lethargic and stopped eating. I took him to the emergency vet and was told he had severe anemia — a blood transfusion was the only way to save his life. The cost was between $7,000 and $10,000 CAD, and his pet insurance hadn’t taken effect yet since I had just brought him home. That amount was very difficult for me to afford, so I posted on Red Note app, asking if there was any alternative to a transfusion. BearMary Cattery replied to me and suggested I try GS-441 to check if it was FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). At that point, it felt like my only hope, so I decided to take the risk. Just two days later, my kitten started eating and grooming again. He’s still undergoing treatment now, but doing very well. During this time, I’ve reached out to BearMary Cattery for every follow-up or new issue that came up, and they always responded patiently and kindly — even sending me GS-441 tablets to help. Again, I want to emphasize: I didn’t even buy a cat from them. And still, they were so willing to help me. I’m beyond grateful. They truly helped save my kitten’s life. BearMary Cattery has extensive experience with kittens, the cats they breed are absolutely adorable, and the people there are incredibly patient and caring. They also work with dedicated veterinarians and Trupanion insurance company. If you’re looking to get a kitten, you can feel completely confident choosing this cattery. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with BearMary. The breeder is very responsive to questions and provides excellent aftercare. When my cat had diarrhea, they took her back for treatment and later arranged her spay surgery, caring for her throughout recovery. Now, she’s healthy, gentle (though a bit naughty at times!), and loves relaxing next to me on the sofa. I also appreciate their 2-week free hosting service since I'm based in Ottawa and may sometimes need to travel for extended periods.
