Meet Clover

Clover is a Golden Point Shaded British Shorthair girl with a soft, affectionate temperament. She enjoys being near people, likes chasing toys and playing with other kittens, and is very comfortable being picked up and held. She is usually quiet, confident in new spaces, and quick to settle, while still bringing plenty of playful energy when something catches her attention.

From Play Mode to Soft Cotton

Clover seems to have three things on her mind each day: food, play, and people. When she is hungry, food gets all her attention. After that, she is ready for toys, other kittens, and whoever is nearby. She can be chasing a teaser wand or playing with Arlo one moment, then go completely soft as soon as we pick her up. In our arms, she relaxes her whole body and stretches out her legs like a piece of soft cotton. When she wants attention, she may simply lie on the floor with her belly up.

Personality

Clover is affectionate, curious, confident, and usually quiet, with an active playful side and a very relaxed response to handling.

Sociable and gentleClover is comfortable with familiar people and other kittens. She likes staying near people, accepts being picked up easily, and relaxes fully while being held. Her play with other kittens is generally gentle rather than rough.
Playful and curiousClover enjoys chasing games, teaser wands, toys on the floor, and play with other kittens. She is quick to investigate new food, smells, objects, and playmates, and she is often among the first to explore something unfamiliar.
AdaptableNew spaces do not seem to unsettle Clover for long. In a new room, she tends to investigate by smelling around and then settles quickly. She has also remained calm in a carrier and during travel rather than vocalizing or trying to get out.
Soft-spokenClover is usually quiet. She may give a mild, soft meow when asking for food, but vocalizing is not a major part of how she interacts day to day.

Clover Catitude personality profile An eight-axis profile of Clover’s observed sociability, playfulness, curiosity, independence, gentleness, activity level, vocalization, and adaptability.

Appearance

Clover has a round, full face with a broad forehead, a rounded muzzle, and round sapphire-blue eyes. Her small-to-medium ears sit in balance with her head. She has a strong, muscular build, much like the rest of her litter, along with noticeably large paws.

Coat & Color

Clover’s short coat is dense and crisp in texture, with a noticeable sheen under the light. Her body color is still very pale, but her Golden Point coloring is developing toward a warmer, creamy golden-white tone. Her ears already show more golden color, and her tail has a subtle darker tip. Her point coloring may also shift somewhat with temperature.

Best Family Fit

Good Match For

  • A household looking for an affectionate, people-oriented kitten who is comfortable being picked up and handled.
  • Someone who enjoys interactive play but also wants a kitten who can settle quickly and relax after play.
  • A home that can offer regular interaction and a calm routine while still giving Clover room to play and explore.

Keep in Mind

  • Clover is affectionate and people-oriented, so she is a better match for someone who enjoys regular interaction than for someone seeking a highly independent cat.
  • She is still an active, curious kitten and benefits from daily play and a cat-safe environment to explore.
  • Her Golden Point coloring is still developing, so her final coat tone and point contrast may continue to change as she matures.
