Meet Taro
Taro is a calm and gentle boy with an easy presence around the home. He enjoys being near people and other cats, but he does not need to be the center of attention. He often watches for a moment before deciding to join in, and once he feels comfortable, he settles naturally into whatever is happening around him. He can spend a quiet stretch on the couch and then suddenly decide it is time for a ball or a game with Maple. He is affectionate, adaptable, and easy to handle, with a noticeably quieter personality than the rest of his litter.
From Little Tiger to Gentleman
When Taro was very young, his spotted pattern stood out clearly through his fluffy coat and made him look like a little round tiger. He was also a busy kitten who loved running around with the rest of his litter. As he grew, his personality became noticeably calmer. He still enjoys chasing a ball, running when the mood strikes, and playing with Maple, but his style now feels much more measured and gentle. He is the kind of kitten who can enjoy a lively game and then settle somewhere soft, quietly watching everything around him.
Personality
Taro is calm, observant, and affectionate, with a playful side that comes out easily when something catches his interest. He enjoys company without constantly asking for attention and adapts comfortably to everyday changes.
Catitude
A visual summary of Taro’s observed personality tendencies.
Appearance
Taro has a very round face with a full forehead, full cheeks, and a broad rounded muzzle. His large green eyes are bright and expressive, with a subtle downward shape at the outer corners that gives his face a gentle expression. His medium sized ears sit evenly on his head. He has a dense, balanced body with a medium build, giving him a sturdy appearance without looking heavy.
Coat & Color
Taro has a long, dense coat with a soft, silky texture. His base color is a warm golden tone with darker black markings. He is a Golden Spotted Tabby, although his long coat softens the pattern and makes the individual spots less obvious than they would be on a shorter coat. The darker markings still show through the golden fur, especially around his face and body, giving him a distinctive warm tabby appearance.
