Teddy
Teddy, our first and dearest British Shorthair king since 2022 (now joined by Carson and Robert), embodies the breed standard, large emerald-green eyes, chubby cheeks, a perfectly round face, and neatly set ears. Calm and gentle, he flops for belly rubs yet stays playful and social with people and other cats (aside from rival males). At his very first and highly competitive TICA show, he earned his Champion title with a balanced body and plush coat. He reliably passes his sweet temperament and classic look to his kittens, and while usually quiet, he becomes irresistibly chatty at mealtime.
Ethel
Ethel is truly the most easygoing cat in our cattery. While all of our cats are friendly, cuddly, and can be picked up with no fuss, Ethel always goes above and beyond. Every time I approach her, she immediately flops over on her back, belly facing up, and greets me with a happy body wiggle. As soon as I start rubbing her belly, she begins to purr with pure contentment. She loves being held and can be cuddled for as long as you want—she never gets tired of it. In terms of appearance, Ethel has a strong, sturdy body with big, round cheeks and bright, expressive eyes. Her golden fur is especially stunning, with a rich, saturated tone that’s hard to miss. What makes Ethel even more special is that she passes down both her outstanding personality and striking appearance to all her kittens. They are consistently friendly, social, and get along well with both humans and other cats—and they’re all strong and healthy, just like their mom.
