Frequent Asked Questions
How does TICA judging work
Each ring is judged independently. Judges compare cats to the breed standard and award placements. Finals are announced per ring.
Why are there so many rings in one show
Because multiple judges evaluate the same entries. This gives a broader and more balanced set of results.
What does making Finals or Top 10 mean
It means the cat placed among the best entries in that ring under that judge.
What is the difference between Kitten, Championship, and Alter
Kitten is for young cats. Championship is for adult cats that are not altered. Alter is for spayed or neutered adults.
What is the difference between Allbreed and Specialty
Allbreed includes all breeds together. Specialty is split by coat length, usually longhair or shorthair.
