Popcorn is truly a wonderful companion and would make a perfect addition to any loving family. However, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure he stays happy and healthy in his new home:
1. Sensitive to Change
Popcorn may experience soft stool during transitions, such as a change in environment or food. While this isn’t a serious issue—he’s never left any messes on the floor—it’s important to introduce any new food gradually and monitor his digestion.
2. Longhair Grooming Needs
As a longhaired cat, Popcorn requires regular grooming. Brushing and detangling should be done at least twice a week to prevent mats and knots. Full grooming and bathing are recommended twice a year to keep his coat in top condition.
3. Tweak in Tail
Popcorn has a slight kink in his tail, which is completely harmless and not visible from the outside. It doesn’t affect his health or movement in any way.
With a bit of care and attention, Popcorn will reward you with endless love, purrs, and cuddles!
Popcorn is now nearing his first birthday, and before we begin the process of rehoming him, I wanted to take a moment to share what a truly special boy he is. After nearly a year of watching him grow and develop, I can confidently say he is an incredibly friendly and affectionate cat with a beautiful, fluffy longhair coat.
Since returning to our cattery, he has settled in right away, getting along perfectly with all of our adult cats and kittens. What touched me most is that he still remembers his name—we named him Popcorn—and every time I call him, he responds with a soft meow. He’s so friendly and trusting that I can scoop him up without hesitation, and he immediately starts to purr in my arms. He has no “don’t-touch” zones—his entire body welcomes affection.
In terms of appearance, Popcorn has a large, handsome face, bright ocean-blue eyes, a nicely angled nose, chubby cheeks, and well-placed small ears. His body is strong and sturdy, with short, thick legs and a beautifully shaded coat blending golden, white, and gray tones in perfect harmony.
I truly believe Popcorn is a wonderful combination of everything we love about his parents, Teddy and Luna—both in personality and physical traits. I feel so grateful to have raised him in our cattery, and I hope he will bring the same joy and love to his future forever home.
