HoneyBear
HoneyBear is truly a sweet, people oriented girl. She has a pair of big, bright eyes, a nice nose, and a full, round muzzle that gives her a very gentle look. She has a lovely face structure, which is not always easy to find in lilac golden shaded British cats. That is one of the reasons I believe she can pass her beauty to her kittens. Her coat is one of her best features. It feels silky, but it also has that fluffy, cotton like volume, so she brings out the best of both textures. It is easy to groom day to day, and it shines with a warm golden glow.
She is not an aloof cat at all. She always wants to stay close, and she is never shy about showing affection. She is not the clingy type that follows you everywhere, but she will happily greet us by rolling over and showing her belly whenever we meet. All in all, HoneyBear is confident, relaxed, and has no aggressive attitude. I am really looking forward to her future kittens. I believe her pairing with Teddy will bring very sweet, friendly, and beautiful kittens.
Teddy
Teddy, our first and dearest British Shorthair king since 2022 (now joined by Carson and Robert), embodies the breed standard, large emerald-green eyes, chubby cheeks, a perfectly round face, and neatly set ears. Calm and gentle, he flops for belly rubs yet stays playful and social with people and other cats (aside from rival males). At his very first and highly competitive TICA show, he earned his Champion title with a balanced body and plush coat. He reliably passes his sweet temperament and classic look to his kittens, and while usually quiet, he becomes irresistibly chatty at mealtime.
