Joining our waiting list means you’ll have the first pick of a British Shorthair or British Longhair kitten that matches exactly what you’re looking for. It’s our way of making sure you’re happy with your choice. Since we only have a few kittens in each litter, there are just a limited number of spots available on the list.
Based on our current breeding plan, here are the predictions of kittens we expect before this summer:
The “Postponed” mark next to a customer’s name on our waiting list indicates that the customer has decided they are not ready to receive a kitten at this time. They have chosen to pass their turn to the next person on the list. Once they are ready to adopt a kitten, they will notify us to rejoin the list and receive their turn again.
Here’s how our waiting list works:
First, you’ll need to put down a 500 CAD deposit, which isn’t refundable within the first two years. If you haven’t found your perfect kitten by then, we’ll give you a full refund.
Next, let us know what you’re looking for in a kitten. Do you prefer a shorthair or longhair? Maybe a golden shaded shorthair, blue golden shaded longhair, or a golden point shorthair? Once you tell us your preferences, your spot on the waiting list is all set. We will send a waiting list contract afterwards.
When the kittens reach about 1.5 to 2 months old, we’ll show them to all the waiting list customers in order. We’ll also schedule a video call to go over the details and let you know the price.
If you find a kitten you love, you’ll need to pay a deposit of “30% of the total adoption fee minus 500 CAD.”
If you can’t decide on a kitten this time around, don’t worry! You’ll move up the list for the next litter.
For our friends outside Canada, we’ve got several payment options to make things easy for you. Please check here
