Bagel is a girl I’ve been most excited about, ever since her parents, both champions, became part of our cattery. Their faces and bodies represent exactly the type I love. When Bagel first opened her eyes, I knew right away that she was the one. She inherited her mother Luna’s big, round, expressive eyes and her father Teddy’s full, strong mouth. From the beginning, my plan for Bagel was to keep her with us, allowing her exceptional bloodline to flourish. I’m also particularly fond of the tabby pattern on her body. While many breeders today prefer golden shaded British Shorthairs without the tabby pattern, I personally adore it and aim to continue breeding this type of adorable cat. In my experience, cats with a tabby pattern tend to have well-developed facial and body structures. So, in many ways, Bagel has always been one of my dream cats.
The decision to find Bagel a forever home wasn’t easy, but it was simple. I realized she could bring even more joy to a loving family than she would in our breeding program. After all, the ultimate goal of our breeding is to bring happiness to cat lovers.
As for her personality, it’s absolutely flawless. She combines Luna’s curiosity with Teddy’s laid-back nature, making her both affectionate and friendly. Every single time I enter her room, she curls around my feet and meows, seeking attention. She loves to be hugged, and once she’s had her fill of cuddles, she’s ready to play. Bagel is always the first to grab the teaser wand, jumping and standing on her hind legs to chase the toy. She never seems to tire! Even when I’m exhausted, her bright, emerald-like eyes continue to gaze at me eagerly, followed by an adorable ‘meow~~’ asking for more playtime.
