The Origin of BearMary British Shorthair Cattery
BearMary’s name comes from our first cat, Mary. We chose this name for our cattery to reflect our goal: breeding adorable and healthy cats that resemble bears. We’re thrilled with how well it fits, as our kittens truly look like little bears.
Selecting Our British Shorthair Kings And Queens
We carefully choose our kings and queens based on health, bone structure, and facial features to ensure we breed irresistibly adorable kittens. Our stud and queen cats come from prestigious European bloodlines. We assess their compatibility, considering facial structure, bone, color, and the health of their potential offspring.
Our Mission
At BearMary Cattery, our goal is to breed healthy kittens with a doll-like appearance and friendly personalities. We prioritize their temperament because they will become part of your family. Each kitten receives daily playtime, love, hugs, and caresses, leading them to be affectionate and purring companions.
Kitten Care
Our kittens are raised in our home to ensure their physical and mental well-being. We provide a spacious environment and essential resources, including clean water and high-quality food such as Instinct, Orijen, and Royal Canin. They also have plenty of toys to keep them entertained.
Raised together, our kittens are used to other cats and humans, helping them socialize effectively. Regular veterinary visits for exams and vaccinations are part of their care. We also ensure all our kittens are neutered or spayed before joining their new families.
About the Breeder
I’m Yanrui, also known as Stella. My love for cats started early, and after studying at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, England, I founded BearMary Cattery. My goal is to excel in breeding British Shorthairs and provide exceptional service to cat lovers across North America and beyond.
